Paul Yates
is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Corporate Member of the Institute of Rating, Revenues and Valuation, and a member of The Institute of Petroleum.
He worked for the Valuation Office for several years before being tempted out into Private Practice in London's West End and held positions at Partner / Director level before setting up on his own account in 1995.
Paul has many years experience acting for petrol companies and retailers alike, motor dealers and also specialises in the valuation of motor racing circuits.
He is retained by the Petrol Retailers Association on Rating matters and was part of the working party responsible for the preparation of the 2000 Revaluation and has considerable experience in all rating matters in this specialist sector.
In addition to his rating experience he also carries out rent review and lease renewal work on behalf of both landlords and tenants and valuations in this specialist property sector.
Paul has written numerous articles on this subject and has spoken at several seminars, when invited to do so.
